LADIES LEAGUE OPERATIONS 2005 - 2006

LEAGUES:     Tuesday 1:00 p.m., Wednesday 6:30 p.m. & 8:45 p.m. (alternating), Friday 9:15 a.m.

The following points describe the operation of the above leagues.

(a) A team shall consist of the four or five players registered with the Draw Convenor. Teams will curl a minimum of twenty (20) games per season.

(b) All league games are eight (8) ends.

(c) In a 10/12 team league teams play a round robin of nine (9) games and eleven (11) section. In an eight (8) team league two (2) round robins of fourteen (14) games, then six (6) games in section. In a twenty-four (24) team league, teams play a round robin of nine(9) games, and eleven (11) in section. Wednesday Evening League will be one twenty-four (24) team league with one "A" Section and one "B" Section Winner. After the first nine (9) games, the top twelve (12) teams go into "A" Section, and the bottom twelve (12) teams go into "B" Section.

(d) The Section Winners of "A" and "B" at the end of the season will be that team which has compiled the most points based on section play.

(e) Ties for section will be resolved on a win/loss record between teams concerned in section play only. If this is not possible between the teams concerned, the total aggregate points will be considered. If still tied, a single knockout playoff will determine the winner.

(f) The "A" Section Winner and the Aggregate Winner from each league, plus the "A" Section runner-up and Aggregate runners-up from the Wednesday Evening League will compete in the Club Championship. If the Aggregate and the "A" Section Winner (or Runners-up on Wednesday Evening) are the same team then the next highest aggregate from that league qualifies for the Club Championship.

(h) Playoffs for Club Championship and Manager's Cup: The executive is empowered to make decisions to adjust the playoff draw to fit the number of teams for playoffs if a qualified team is unable to play, to avoid byes where possible.
